The 2022 Logan Clementine Pinot Gris is a “skinsy” orange wine from Orange, NSW, featuring a coppery-pink hue, wild yeast fermentation, and two weeks on skins. It offers aromatic notes of pear, red apple, and fennel, with a savory, textural palate including poached quince, clementine, and tangy acidity.
Winemaking
A blend of 70% Orange and 30% Mudgee Pinot Gris, fermented on skins with wild yeast for around two weeks to enhance texture and structure. A portion (30%) was aged in older oak for 10 months with malolactic fermentation, softening the palate and adding a silky mouthfeel.
