The Logan 2022 Chardonnay is pale straw in colour with aromas of grapefruit, red apple and cashew. The palate is focused around a mineral core with flavours of pear and nectarine, a delicate texture and a long lemon zest finish.
Winemaking
After gentle pressing, the juice was clarified and partially oxidised to stabilise phenolics. Fermented with wild yeast, 75% in French oak (various ages) and 25% in stainless steel. The oak portion was aged on lees for 8 months, with partial malolactic fermentation to enhance texture and balance. The wine was filtered before bottling.
