It has a brilliant, dark ruby red color with intense purple highlights. The aromas are enveloping, harmonious, and profound, with evident spicy notes at first and fruity notes of raspberry, strawberry, and ripe cherry. Pleasant harmonies of wild flowers finish. On the palate, the wine is well-structured, fresh, with excellent acidity and balance, a captivating tannic texture, and flavors reminiscent of black cherry, blackberry, and plum.

Notes:
Produced in one of the last archaic vineyards in the Langhe, an open-air museum of ancient viticulture, over 100 years old, the grapes come from ungrafted vines propagated by cuttings, thus maintaining all of Barbera’s original characteristics intact over the decades. The vineyard, boasting excellent exposure and sandy-calcareous soils, located in the Berri district of La Morra, guarantees the vines’ natural protection from phylloxera and gives the wine a unique and exclusive character, blending with intriguing simplicity the most typical characteristics of the grape variety with the characteristics of a particularly favorable microclimate and altitude. The very low yield per hectare guarantees an organoleptic concentration of rare intensity and richness, for a wine that is aged in oak barrels designed to slowly develop its primary aromas. Pleasant and refined, complex even when enjoyed young, it is a product that does not fear aging in the bottle, expressing its concrete uniqueness even after years.
