Elvio Cogno Barbera D’Alba Bricco Dei Merli DOC 2021
$87.00
Volume: 750ml
It has a deep ruby red color with distinct purple highlights. The aromas are deep and ample, elegant and harmonious; they recall roses, forest floor scents, and oriental spices. On the palate, the wine offers considerable power, yet is softened by an elegant smoothness; the structure is excellent and is accompanied by a lively freshness; the flavors recall morello cherry and plum jam, with a long, pleasantly savory finish.
Notes:
A typically Piedmontese wine, with structure and great longevity, where wood and fruit blend harmoniously, preserving the varietal’s characteristics and uniqueness. Its key qualities are its great drinkability and freshness, as per Cogno tradition. It is a wine of character where the terroir is clearly expressed.
