Sourced from a unique vineyard site nestled at the base of an old sand dune, this Cabernet Sauvignon benefits from cooler microclimate conditions. It displays vibrant flavours of cassis, plum, chocolate, and mint. Full-bodied yet refined, with succulent fruit and fine, structured tannins that deliver excellent length and persistence.
Winemaking
Fruit was harvested at night to preserve freshness, then de-stemmed and fermented on skins for 8–13 days to extract colour and structure. Following pressing and malolactic fermentation, the wine was matured for 18 months in oak, including 21% new French oak, with the balance in older French and American oak hogsheads. The wine underwent several rackings, was blended, and returned to oak for further maturation, resulting in refined tannins and added complexity.
