Valdivieso
Founded in 1879, Valdivieso is one of Chile’s historic wine producers and a pioneer of sparkling wine in the country. Established by Alberto Valdivieso in the Central Valley, the winery quickly gained recognition as the first producer to make sparkling wine using traditional European methods in Chile.
Today, Valdivieso sources grapes from some of Chile’s most distinctive terroirs, including the cool coastal zones of Casablanca Valley, Leyda Valley, and the warmer inland vineyards of the Central Valley. This diversity allows the winery to craft a broad portfolio of wines that balance ripeness with freshness.
The estate produces expressive varietals such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Carmenère, alongside its long-standing sparkling wine tradition. The wines are known for their vibrant fruit, approachable structure and excellent value.
With more than a century of winemaking history, Valdivieso continues to represent the evolution of Chilean wine, combining tradition with modern vineyard practices.
