Founded in 1997 in the renowned Hawke’s Bay wine region, Sileni Estates is one of New Zealand’s leading wineries, known for producing wines that reflect the purity and vibrancy of the country’s diverse terroirs. The winery takes its name from the Sileni, companions of the Greek god of wine Dionysus, reflecting the founders’ belief that wine should be enjoyed as part of life’s shared moments.

Sileni sources fruit from carefully selected vineyards across Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough, two of New Zealand’s most important wine regions. Hawke’s Bay, with its warm climate and gravelly soils, provides ideal conditions for varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, while Marlborough’s cooler climate and abundant sunshine create vibrant and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc.
