Domaine Daniel Dampt
Domaine Daniel Dampt is a long-established family estate located in the village of Chablis, one of Burgundy’s most renowned regions for Chardonnay.
The Dampt family has been involved in viticulture in Chablis for several generations. Over time, the estate has gradually expanded its vineyard holdings across several appellations within the region, allowing the family to cultivate a range of sites that express the diversity of Chablis terroir.
Today the domaine is managed by Daniel Dampt together with his sons, who continue the family’s winemaking tradition. Their vineyards are planted on the region’s distinctive Kimmeridgian limestone soils, a geological formation rich in marine fossils that contributes to the mineral character for which Chablis wines are famous.
The estate produces wines across the full hierarchy of Chablis appellations, from Petit Chablis and Chablis to several Chablis Premier Cru vineyards. Each wine reflects the freshness and precision that have long defined the region.
