Domaine Bruno Clavelier
Located in the celebrated village of Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Bruno Clavelier is a small family estate whose history is deeply intertwined with several historic Burgundy families.
Bruno Clavelier inherited vineyard parcels from his maternal lineage, which connects the Clavelier family with the well-known Noëllat and Marey-Monge families. These vineyard holdings have been cultivated for generations and include parcels in some of the most prestigious terroirs of the Côte de Nuits.
The estate farms vineyards across several renowned appellations including Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, Nuits-Saint-Georges, and Corton Grand Cru. Many of the vines are old plantings propagated from traditional massal selections, preserving the genetic diversity of Burgundy’s historic vineyards.
Bruno Clavelier is also known for his strong commitment to sustainable viticulture. The domaine has adopted organic and biodynamic farming practices, reflecting a philosophy that prioritises soil health and the natural expression of terroir.
Today the wines of Domaine Bruno Clavelier reflect a careful balance between tradition and precision, offering a distinctive interpretation of Burgundy’s limestone soils.
