Domaine Anne Gros

Based in the prestigious village of Vosne-Romanée in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, Anne Gros leads one of the most respected family domaines in the region.

The Gros family has deep roots in Burgundy, with vineyard holdings dating back to the early nineteenth century. Over generations the family established a reputation for producing wines from some of the most sought-after vineyards in the Côte de Nuits.

Anne Gros assumed leadership of the domaine in 1988, following the retirement of her father François Gros. At a time when few women were leading major Burgundy estates, she quickly gained recognition for her meticulous vineyard work and thoughtful winemaking approach.

Under her guidance the domaine has refined its focus on expressing the individual character of each vineyard site. The estate’s holdings include parcels in several prestigious appellations including Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, Échezeaux Grand Cru, and Clos Vougeot Grand Cru.

Anne Gros places particular emphasis on vineyard management, believing that the quality of the wine begins with careful cultivation of the vines. Harvesting is done with great precision, and winemaking is carried out with the goal of preserving the purity and balance of the fruit.

Today Domaine Anne Gros is widely regarded as one of the leading estates of the Côte de Nuits, producing wines that combine aromatic elegance, refined structure and remarkable depth, while faithfully reflecting the distinctive terroirs of Burgundy.
