Domaine Anne Gros & Jean-Paul Tollot
“Southern French spirit, Burgundian soul” aptly defines Domaine Anne Gros & Jean-Paul Tollot, a unique partnership that brings Burgundian finesse to the sun-drenched terroirs of the Minervois. Established by Anne Gros and Jean-Paul Tollot, the estate reflects a shared vision to craft wines of precision, elegance and balance in southern France.
Located in Cazelles, north of Carcassonne at the foothills of the Montagne Noire, the vineyards benefit from higher elevations and a cooler microclimate—conditions that allow for slower ripening and the preservation of natural acidity. The estate works with a mosaic of terroirs and notably old vines, including parcels of century-old Carignan, which contribute depth and character to the wines.
Viticulture follows a sustainable, low-intervention approach, with careful vineyard management and hand harvesting to ensure optimal fruit quality. In the cellar, fermentations are carried out using indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled tanks, with ageing in a combination of stainless steel and older French oak to preserve purity while adding structure.
The wines are defined by their refinement and balance, combining the generosity of the Mediterranean with the precision of Burgundy. Silky, expressive and terroir-driven, they offer a distinctive and elegant interpretation of the Minervois.
